Make Room for the Journey

"Autumn lures me on her road to travel miles scattered in gold." - Angie Weiland-Crosby
Hello and Happy Autumn! I hope summer's end has left you feeling warmed, rested, and full of wanderlust.
This new season invites us to begin slowing down; reflect on what has grown in our lives, notice what nourishes us best, and let go of what we're ready to leave behind.
Might I suggest Travel to be a similar journey. A change of scenery, a different pace, attention to notice what's around you, breathe a little deeper, step outside of our everyday routine. We don't have to carry everything with us. Just take what you need. Leave room for what you'll discover. Leave room for what unfolds.
If you've been feeling pulled toward somewhere new or fondly familiar, or simply toward a different pace, I'd love to hear about it.
As always, I'm here to help you find the journey that fits you, to make it yours.
Cheers to a season of golden roads, happy discoveries and space to breathe.
Warmly,
Tara Schwartz

Travel Tip: Put Those Miles To Work

Do you have airline miles sitting around? Put them to work, but don't let them dictate your trip.
Airline miles can be wonderful when the right opportunity comes along, but point pricing can vary dramatically by airline, destination and date of travel. Sometimes the number of miles needed for a ticket is surprisingly high.
Think of your miles as a travel bonus, rather than your travel budget. Use them when you find a redemption that makes sense, and let them take a little off the cost (or add a little comfort with an upgrade) to a trip you're already planning.
One Journey to Consider
Viking Cruise: Experience the world, at a quieter pace.

As I write this, a client has just embarked on their 14-day Mediterranean Viking cruise. They spent the last 4 days in Athens exploring and soaking in the history and culture of the city, and today got settled into their stateroom, anticipating another two weeks traveling through Greece, Croatia and Italy.
There is something lovely about seeing the Mediterranean beyond the hype of summer. Different seasons mean fewer crowds, a gentler pace, and more opportunity to settle into your destination rather than just hitting the highlights. And Viking offers a level of comfort that you can retreat into.

Viking's itineraries go beyond the Mediterranean, with ocean voyages to places like Australia and New Zealand, Bali and Komodo, the Chilean fjords, and even Tokyo to Vancouver.
Thoughtfully planned itineraries, beautiful destinations, and the ease of Viking luxury
make this an appealing way to experience more of the world.
Select Viking sailings currently offer reduced international airfare, your choice of shipboard credit OR free beverage package and gratuities, AND $25 deposit to reserve. If somewhere is calling, I'd be happy to explore the options with you.
If someone comes to mind who could use a little help planning their next journey, I always appreciate an introduction. As a thank-you, I’ll send you a $25 gift card when your referral books a trip with me.
And remember that travel can be one of the most meaningful gifts you can give someone. If you’d like to give a future adventure, I’m happy to help you create a travel gift, from a gift card toward their trip to a fully planned getaway. Just reach out, and we’ll make it special.
